An exercise in human connection and problem-solving, The Down Campaign tackles unhealthy phone usage in young adults by reframing screen addiction as the product of deliberately habit-forming design rather than a user flaw, recognizing the social crutch that phones provide, and offering an alternative. By destigmatizating, informing, and presenting a self-sustainable solution for the social uncertainty that phones are often used to alleviate, Down aims to facilitate healthy phone habits, foster community, and initiate change.
